Went in late May, had rainy weather but enjoyed the facility and staff. Slightly run down, but the location is great, far from the madness of Charlotte Amalie, and close to Red Hook and the ferry. Rented a car from Budget, whose cars can go on the ferry to St John (a highly recommended side trip-plan all day). Every night was a fun night at Iggies on the beach, too. Be sure and take some bug spray to spray the room - we were eaten alive in spite of the repellant that the hotel has available in the bar. If you are looking for luxury, this ain't it, but if you like funky on the beach, it is perfect!

This place rules! Sure its not the W but who cares when you wake up in the morning to the sound of crashing waves and tropical breezes. The property is quiet and understated the rooms are quaint and clean and this place is definately kid friendly #40 my 13 year old daughter cant wait to go back#41. The nightly events are a blast. The staff is the BEST! They treat you like family cater to all your needs and always seem to enjoy what they do. ABC and XYZ were the most gracious hosts/owners anyone could hope for. If you are looking for a place to hang out and enjoy sun sand and really good food and beverages without the huge crowds although Iggys is jumpin every night this place is it.

Just to wake up to the beach literally at your door was priceless. The rooms may not have been 5 star but, were extremely clean and comfortable. The food was so fresh and beautifuly prepared. If you can't find enough to keep you busy on the beach the staff is awesome at helping you plan additional off resort activities during your stay. And lastly, the staff. The staff are what made Bolongo the best vacation EVER !!! You are not just a name and a room number. They treat you as if you're family. We will recomend Bolong Bay Beach Resort to everyone looking for a great vacation experience.

The hotel was ok overall and the staff is certainly first class. The beach was groomed and kept very clean of refuse. The restaurants were great - the food was very good. The beds were rather old and quite hard and uncomfortable and the shower is very tiny. We wish we had chosen the condo units.

Went to visit our daughter since she was not able to get home for Christmas due to work. She recommended Bolongo and we upgraded to ocean front. St Thomas Dive Club runs a small boat there which is way better than those large crowded dive boats. one dive was just the three of us and another day was five and third day just two. WAY better than a crowd. We are planning to return in a few months and will stay there again. Did not get the all inclusive because our daughter knows all the local places and it seemed a bit pricy.
